If you want to learn to drive quicker than just having weekly lessons then an intensive course may be right for you. You will cover the same syllabus over a shorter timescale, meaning you reach test standard sooner.

The number of hours required to reach test standard will be influenced by any driving experience you have before starting your course. Prior to agreeing to an intensive driving course you will be required to do a two hour driving assessment. This assessment, which costs £88, will enable Bellamy’s Driving School to gauge how many hours you may require and to discuss the intensive course in more detail.

Before an intensive course is booked you MUST have passed your theory test.

The price of the intensive course purchased includes the cost of using the learner vehicle for your practical test, but not the practical test itself.

Payment for the practical test is made to the DVSA and can vary depending on when the test is booked for.

Any additional hours required after your intensive course to reach test standard will be charged at £44 per hour.

To secure your intensive course a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the course fee is required. The remaining balance is then due 14 days before the course starts. If the balance is not received 14 days before the course is due to start the course will be cancelled and the deposit lost.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Once the dates for an intensive course have been agreed and the course is paid for in full no refund will be given unless there are exceptional circumstances as deemed by Bellamy’s Driving School.
